Rockin’ Robin Productions was founded 18 years ago as a fledgling audio company by president Doug Secor. In that short span of time it has since developed into a viable sound reinforcement company in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Rockin’ Robin’s reputation was elevated with the addition of VUE’s al-Class line arrays which provided the ability to cover larger events and opened the doors to a host of new clients.
Some of their larger events include Femmes of Rock, Geneva Grape Jamboree, and Thunder on the Strip featuring Jackyl. Each had their sonic challenges with different genres of music and different instruments. Rockin’ Robin’s al-8 acoustic linearity line arrays performed spectacularly for the Femmes of Rock, leaving the crowd in disbelief of the sound quality. Femmes of Rock are fronted by 3 electric violins and cellist. The Beryllium HF drivers in the al-Class line arrays beautifully reproduced those challenging string frequencies at high SPL. Rockin’ Robin also employs hs-28 subs and the h-208 low-profile/high-output dual 8” loudspeakers. With a versatile VUE inventory they are able to scale audio coverage to various sizes of outdoor events and venues.
