VUE Expands al-12 Line Array with Flyable Subwoofer

Designed for seamless integration with VUE’s flagship line array, the al-12SB dramatically expands the al-12’s versatility by delivering powerful and well-defined low-frequency reproduction to below 35 Hz. The al-12SB’s flyable enclosure features versatile rigging options for suspension above or behind al-12 arrays in a variety of configurations, including cardioid arrangements. h-Class Additions Extend Ultra Premium Performance Product Line

VUE Audiotechnik will use this week’s NAMM show in Anaheim to show off two new models in its premium h-Class family of high definition powered systems. The hm-108A is a precision slant stage monitor packing the full arsenal of VUE’s most advanced technologies into a compact, fidelity-first monitoring system. Also new is the h-8N, a narrow dispersion sibling to VUE’s h-8, the most popular model in VUE’s h-Class family.

VUE Unveils e-352 Nano High Definition Loudspeaker Speaker at InfoComm 2017.

Small and mighty – VUE’s e-352 delivers high output, hi-fi quality sound from a stylish, no-compromises package ideal for discerning professionals. VUE Audiotechnik today unveiled the first member of its new e-Class range of high-definition installation speakers. The two-way e-352 Nano loudspeaker resets the SPL-to-size benchmark with hi-fi quality sound and professional output levels—all from a stylishly compact, weather resistant enclosure that’s equally at home in the most “hoity-toity” museum displays or above the Hard Rock pool bar.

“Balancing output, sound quality and size is not easy, which has resulted in numerous products that deliver in one or two of these areas, but never all three with any real success,” explained VUE CEO, Ken Berger. “Thanks to the advancements we’ve made with beryllium HF components and ultra-powerful neodymium magnets, as well as the DSP horsepower available from our VUEDrive engines, the e-352 delivers esoteric, audiophile grade performance, while offering output levels typically reserved for much larger professional systems.”

Sensorium’s design consists of four clusters of eight VUE al-4 subcompact line array elements. The four arrays are carefully positioned around the extended main stage to deliver 270-degree coverage. “The beryllium HF drivers in the VUE systems deliver dynamic range and a level of intelligibility simply unmatched,” remarked Bilgore. “Plus, the al-4’s coverage is so well controlled, that we were easily able to ensure ideal vertical coverage, while avoiding the overspill that was troublesome with the previous system.”
