CIRQUE GOES TO THE MOVIES WITH PHILLY POPS® AND VUE AUDIOTECHNIK
Created by Philly POPS Music Director Michael Krajewski, Cirque Goes to the Movies merges epic movie music with Cirque aerialists, contortionists, strong men and dancers, and was the grand finale of the Philly POPS 2015-2016 season. This world premiere POPS program featured Cirque’s amazing physical feats of power and beauty scored with music from classic movies such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Titanic, Mission Impossible, James Bond and others. Cirque Goes to the Movies was performed live at Verizon Hall, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, with sound design created by Houser Audio exclusively with VUE Audiotechnik loudspeakers. The al-Class of Scalable “Acoustic Linearity” Arrays was at the heart of the sound design.
VUE UNITES EASTERN AND WESTERN CULTURES AT THE 2016 NINGBO FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUÉ
The inaugural “Fête de la Musique”, also known as World Music Day, took place in Paris, France in 1982. Today, it is an annual outdoor music event, is celebrated in more than 450 cities in 120 countries around the world. As the musical highlight of the “Croisements Festival” or “Crossroads Festival” which celebrates Franco-Chinese artistic collaborations with focus on French artists who draw their inspiration from Chinese life and culture, the 3rd Ningbo Fête de la Musiqué took place at the Ningbo Cultural Plaza on June 18th and 19th. With varied musical styles from Rock ’n’ Roll and Metal, to Folk and Jazz, bands like Redor, Omnipotent Youth Society, Left Right and famous singers such as Chen Li brought a fantastic feast of sounds to fans in Eastern China. VUE provided both the PA system and technical support for the festival, which debuted VUEs large format al-12 Scalable Line Array loudspeaker system.

Bay area based Delicate Productions provided full production including staging, lighting, video, and audio on all five stages of this year’s Bottlerock. For the fourth year edition of the Napa, CA based Food, Wine and Music Festival; Delicate Productions deployed the brand new VUE Audiotechnik al-12 system for its inaugural run on the Miner Family Winery Stage. This first public outing saw a 20-box main system supported by 16 brand new double 21-inch, self-powered ACM™ subwoofers, supplying unmatched sound for the fans of such performers as the legendary Buddy Guy, the high energy world-beat-metal band Diego’s Umbrella, New York’s soulful Pimps of Joytime, and Australia’s sharp edged indie rockers Atlas Genius.

As the second North-American stop for VUE’s newly released al-12 Line Array system Summer Festival Tour Extravaganza, unsuspecting punters will be treated to a whole arsenal of VUE loudspeaker products on the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard Stage. Not only will the stage feature a VUE main PA system, but will also deploy VUE stage monitors, subwoofers and fill speakers.
