VUE al-12 unleashes full arsenal of class-leading line array tech on unsuspecting concert goers in SUMMER TOUR Extravaganza

The World’s largest music festival – Summerfest – debuts VUE on its Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard stage

Summerfest is an annual music festival held at the 75-acre Henry Maier Festival Park along the lakefront in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The inaugural Summerfest was held in July 1968 after the City’s mayor was inspired by Oktoberfest while visiting Munich, Germany. The 11 day festival features 11 stages with performances from over 700 bands. Summerfest runs from June 29th through July 10th, with a dark day on July 4th. Summerfest attracts between 800,000 and 1,000,000 people each year, promoting itself as “The World’s Largest Music Festival”, a title certified by the Guinness World Records.

As the second North-American stop for VUE’s newly released al-12 Line Array system Summer Festival Tour Extravaganza, unsuspecting punters will be treated to a whole arsenal of VUE loudspeaker products on the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard Stage. Not only will the stage feature a VUE main PA system, but will also deploy VUE stage monitors, subwoofers and fill speakers. Wisconsin based touring and integration provider Clearwing is supplying the VUE arsenal with Bryan Baumgartner handling the logistics. Robby Hegge will be Clearwing System Tech for both the Briggs and Harley stages, with Jason Pruzing handling FOH Engineer duties and Megan Menninger taking the lead as Monitor Engineer on the Briggs & Stratton stage. Jefferson Taylor and Thomas Martinez will be present as VUE Systems Techs throughout the festival dates.

VUE Rep Donn Nelson of Pro Media Marketing will accompany and supply transportation between stages for guests wanting to hear the new VUE system, and a variety of other new products in their line card being deployed at this year’s Summerfest.

Please contact Jeff Taylor or Donn Nelson for an appointment to hear the new al-12 system during SummerFest.
