Ken Berger – CEO:

Ken Berger & Kenton Forsythe, EAW 1978

As co-founder and CEO of Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW), Ken grew EAW into a major industry powerhouse by listening attentively to customer feedback and assembling a responsive business model, more agile and effective than the larger, slow-moving competition. Ken’s dedication to thinking differently enabled EAW to grow to over $50M in revenue before Mackie Designs acquired the company in 2000. As CEO of Pro Sound Web, Ken went on to apply a similar commitment to community engagement, growing PSW into one of the most active and dedicated user communities for professional live sound and recording enthusiasts online today. Ken has also held executive positions at LOUD Technologies, SIA Software, N-Tune and Music Sciences.

Frank Loyko – Vice President Global Sales

Based in Seattle, Loyko brings 36 years of executive experience building sales networks at professional audio companies including EAW, RCF, Avid Technology and the TC Group. Frank oversees all of VUE’s global sales and distribution activities and initiatives.

A skilled engineer whose design talents balance science with a practical, real-world approach honed from nearly four decades as a FOH/Monitor engineer (Jimmy Buffett, Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris) and system designer for one of America’s top touring and installation sound companies. Michael was also co-founder of Audio Composite Engineering (ACE), playing key roles in the development of some of the most successful loudspeaker systems in use today, including the JBL Vertec series and QSC’s Wideline series.

Sara also served as Director of Marketing and Sales for Live Sound International Magazine and ProSoundweb.com, two of the industry’s most respected news and technical information sources. Sara brings to VUE Audiotechnik a wealth of industry relationships and a deep understanding of business operations.



Jeff Taylor  VP Americas:

Jeff Taylor – VP Americas

Jeff-al-4-rigging-IMG_5178A true pro audio enthusiast who spends much of his personal time running live sound near his home in Vancouver, Washington, Jeff Taylor brings to VUE more than 15 years of experience along with a deep personal passion for all things audio. Jeff has held strategic business development and sales positions at some of the most respected companies in professional audio. Key roles include Mackie, RCF, BIAMP Systems, and the pro audio brands of Telex Communications including Electro-Voice, Midas and Dynacord.

Greg Kirkland   Technical Sales:

Greg Kirkland – Technical Sales

Kirkland has been responsible for designing, installing and programming audio systems in world-class performance venues as well as engineering live shows throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has mixed tours for Liza Minnelli, Andy Williams, Burt Bacharach, Julie Andrews, Rosemary Clooney and Creedence Clearwater Revisited, among others. As a founding partner of Thomas Gregor Associates, Kirkland designed and programmed audio systems and oversaw production of the company’s larger and more complex projects for clients including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Boeing, Universal Studios and Cedars Sinai. Kirkland has extensive experience with cruise ship systems including new-builds and refits in various capacities including as a systems designer, engineer and programmer. His company, Thomas Gregor Associates, was awarded the 2006 ARCHI-TECH magazine Award for Princess Cruise’s industry first Movies Under The Stars outdoor cinema venue. Kirkland was also responsible for the groundbreaking design and implementation of the initial shipwide all digital audio distribution network – a first in the industry. At FUNA, Kirkland served on the design team for the Disney Dream and Fantasy along with several super yacht projects. He also has extensive system design and installation experience in famed Las Vegas venues and themed entertainment industry. Kirkland will expand VUE’s technical support for larger design firms and projects.

Ilona Adamson   Marketing Director:

Ilona Adamson – Marketing Director

An industry veteran focused on professional audio marketing and graphic design, Adamson served for eight years as Adamson Systems Engineering’s Marketing Manager. Along the way, she earned a 2012 PLASA Award for Innovation for Best Live Sound Marketing Team. She then operated a graphic design and business development company in Toronto, Canada, before joining VUE Audiotechnik, one of the fastest-growing professional audio manufacturers in the world. “Ilona brings with her a wealth of experience, creativity, and marketing skill,” remarks VUE CEO Ken Berger. “She is a proven winner, with a commitment to excellence, and we’re delighted that she has agreed to lead our marketing team.”
