h-class-12back-02-IMG_9183VUE is proud to announce its participation in the Dante™ AV Networking World event in Amsterdam. AV Networking World conferences are free educational events for anyone interested in superior audio networking. Dante AV Networking World is a free, all-day seminar taking place on 8 February 2016 at the Amsterdam Holiday Inn. This year’s event will feature an increased emphasis on Dante training, with participation from over 20 of the most influential audio manufacturers in A/V.

Ask questions and gain hands-on experience with Dante-enabled products. VUE will provide its Dante enabled h-Class  powered speakers as well as Dante enabled V Series Systems Engines (dsp/amplifier) for the prevention and in the sponsor’s pavilion.

The presentations and training sessions will include:

  • The Latest Trends in Audio Networking
  • Understanding Standards, Protocols and Solutions
  • Making the Leap from Analogue to Networked Audio
  • Setting up and Deploying Dante Networks
  • Networking Fundamentals for Audio Professionals
  • Dante Case Study: Networked Audio System at Frankfurt Kap Europa Convention Centre
  • Dante Case Study: Networking Stadiums with Broadcasters for the Rugby World Cup
  • Dante Via and Software-Based Audio Networking
  • Dante Labs: A Sneak Peek at Future of Dante

Attendees will also learn about network-switch selection, redundant design and incorporating analog signal processors into Dante networks. Dante AV Networking World seminars are recommended for anyone involved with the design and installation of networked audio systems, including design consultants, system integrators and sound engineers. Attendees will also earn 4 CTS RU credits. Lunch and a hosted reception will be provided.

When designing the h-Class and V-Series, engineers at VUE included Ethernet capabilities for use in network control and monitoring, anticipating that in the future they could expand the products to include Dante. The recent introduction of the Dante Ultimo chipset, a cost-effective Dante solution for low-channel-count applications, enables VUE DSP systems to incorporate Dante functionality at competitive price points. VUE users will now be able to incorporate h-Class and V Series products in any Dante network, including environments such as stadiums or theme parks, where Dante infrastructure is already in place.

Designed by Audinate, Dante is an uncompressed multichannel digital audio and video network protocol with near-zero latency and clock synchronization. Dante networks can be scaled and expanded from basic systems of just a few audio channels to complex networks running thousands of audio channels. Networks are managed using Dante Controller software, which can be run under Windows or Mac OS.
