Wallmans Oslo Receives Full VUE al-Class Upgrade

“The al-8 is virtually invisible to my ears. It has a wide-open voice that allows me to place the source of the sound right where I want it in the mix. I’m free to create an experience where sound is coming from something on stage, rather than from a speaker hanging above or to the side of the stage. I have never experienced anything like this before.”

– Sigmund “Sigge” Rønning, Wallmans FOH technician

Delmar Loops Around to VUE Audio for The Pageant Audio Upgrade

“The system went up really fast and coverage was very good with virtually no tweaking required. In other words, pretty much exactly as the EASE model predicted. That’s surely a testament to VUE’s simple rigging system and the tight integration between the boxes and the VUEDrive processors.”

-Randy Noldge, FOH and Senior Engineer for The Pageant

VUE Delivers A+ Performance at Calvin Performing Arts Theater

With sound quality at the top of their list, school leaders tapped Fallbrook, California’s Quiet Voice Audio (“QVA”) to provide complete audio system design and installation services for their new space. For Calvin Christian, QVA’s undeniable track record and impressive portfolio spoke for itself. Notable QVA installations include the California Performing Arts Center, Broadway Theater and the House of Blues, to name just a few. San Diego Stage and Lighting was also brought in to provide acoustic consultation and treatment.

“Being local, we’ve attended several impressive VUE demonstrations over the years and always leave very impressed. But having the opportunity to hear Mike Adams explain the science behind the al-4 was very motivating. There’s a genuine uniqueness to the VUE formula that’s like nothing else out there. Our confidence was further bolstered when we installed the al-4s in the challenging acoustic environment at St. Gregory Church in San Diego. The results were simply excellent.”

VUE Brings Holiday Cheer to Oslo’s Dubliner Folk Pub

Well-known for its mix of ambiance, Irish fare and late-night live music, the Dubliner Folk Pub was in need of a sound system retrofit to deliver a more world-class sonic experience for its patrons and visiting acts. Centered around a live-stage area, the Pub hosts a wide array of local and international acts and boasts three separate themed bars, as well as an outdoor patio — a configuration that traditionally posed a variety of challenges for both coverage and sightlines.

Genesis Technologies Designs all-VUE Upgrade for Binnerri Presbyterian Church

Located in the Dallas suburb of Richardson, Binnerri Presbyterian Church is one of the oldest and largest Korean American Churches in Texas. Hosting three services every Sunday, the day begins with a more traditional format that includes choir and mostly spoken word, and then concludes with a youth-oriented gathering complete with guitar, bass, and drums.
Recently the church’s aging sanctuary underwent a major remodeling that included a full redo of the audio, video lighting systems. Designed and installed by Auburn, Virginia-based Genesis Technology, the new, fully modern AV system is centered around VUE’s al-4 Subcompact Line Array System.
