Lyrical Mastery Meets Audio Precision:

Kendrick Lamar recently kicked off his 2017 arena tour in support of his critically acclaimed album DAMN. For this tour, which will hit cities in the US, Canada and Mexico, FOH Engineer Kyle Hamilton specified a complete VUE sound reinforcement system, supplied by Escondido, California-based Sound Image.
Debuting earlier this month to a packed house of 18,000 at the Gila River Arena just outside Phoenix, the system includes left and right VUE al-12 line arrays consisting of 20 elements each, with two auxiliary side-hangs of eight elements each. 32 VUEDrive V3 Systems Engines provide power and processing for the arrays. A DIGICo SD7 handles the FOH mix with a pair of VUE h-12s serving as nearfield monitors.

From Pump House to Performance Venue

avon and VUE Deliver Sonic Upgrade to Trondheim Norway’s Dokkhuset Scene
Situated in one of the few original buildings in the city’s now gentrified former shipyards, Trondheim Norway’s Dokkhuset Scene cultural center serves as both a showcase for the city’s live music scene, and reminder of the city’s shipbuilding past. Completed in 2007, the center was the final piece of a mixed-use revitalization project and today serves as a regional hub for jazz and contemporary music, complete with a state-of-the-art avon system based around VUE loudspeakers.

VUE Brings Big Venue Sound to St. Louis Delmar Hall

When Pageant Theater co-owners Pat Hagin and Joe Edwards set out to add a mid sized venue to their St. Louis live-music-venue portfolio, they hired St. Louis based Logic Systems to deliver a state-of-the-art VUE based design for their brand new, 10,000 square foot rock performance venue, Delmar Hall, in St. Louis’s burgeoning Delmar Loop district.
According to Delmar Hall FOH engineer, Tiffany Hendren, the decision to select VUE was easy. “We started demoing line arrays from five different manufacturers and the second one we heard was the VUE system. After just a few seconds, I knew VUE was the perfect choice — it was clean, clear, warm and loud — just beautiful. And VUE’s Jeff Taylor was great at bringing in all the options to make our decision even easier — their customer service is insane.”
